ITSEC Asia and Qrypt Join Forces to Bring Quantum-Safe Security to Indonesia

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – At the ITSEC Cybersecurity Summit 2025, two leaders in cybersecurity officially came together to prepare Indonesia for the quantum era. ITSEC Asia, Indonesia’s foremost cybersecurity company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qrypt, a U.S.-based innovator in quantum cryptography solutions. The agreement was signed by Patrick Dannacher, President Director of ITSEC Asia, and Kevin Chalker, CEO & Founder of Qrypt.

Qrypt is known for developing technologies that protect information against threats posed by quantum computing, machines capable of solving problems faster than even today’s most powerful supercomputers. While quantum computers promise breakthroughs in medicine, AI, and materials science, they also put current encryption systems at risk. Traditional safeguards like RSA and ECC, widely used in banking, healthcare, and government, could be broken, potentially exposing critical infrastructure and billions of connected devices.

This is where post-quantum cryptography (PQC) comes in new methods of securing data that can withstand quantum-level attacks. Qrypt’s products, including Quantum Entropy Appliances, Quantum Entropy-as-a-Service, and Digital Quantum Key Distribution (DQKD), are designed to give organizations a head start in becoming “quantum-safe.”

Through this partnership, ITSEC Asia will introduce and integrate Qrypt’s solutions in Indonesia while driving three key initiatives:

• Research & Testing: Collaborating with global partners and universities to build proofs-of-concept that show how PQC can secure real-world applications such as financial transactions, secure communications, and data storage.
• Training & Capacity Building: Through ITSEC Cyber Academy, launched earlier this year, to equip Indonesian IT professionals with practical skills to implement quantum-safe systems.
• Industry Awareness: Bringing PQC discussions to the forefront at events, media, and forums, including this very summit.
