This time, guests will witness one of the most iconic traditional performances from Malang: Bantengan, a sacred folk art that unites movement, rhythm, and spiritual energy into a single breath of culture.

Carrying the theme “Bantengan in Action – Culture You Can Feel!”, this performance is not merely a spectacle, but an emotional and immersive cultural journey. Accompanied by the hypnotic sounds of gamelan and pounding drums, the dancers bring to life the sacred figure of the bull—symbolizing power and protection in East Javanese tradition. A mystical aura of trance, or semi-conscious state, envelops the performance, taking the audience beyond the boundary of the physical world into a spiritual realm—an extraordinary experience rarely seen up close.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at 7:30 PM, exclusively at Saigonsan Garden Café by Kawisari. This lush tropical garden will be transformed into an open-air cultural stage, glowing with artistic lighting and the quiet magic of dusk. Surrounded by towering trees and an atmosphere rich with heritage, guests will be invited to experience an evening that is both heartwarming and full of cultural surprises.

This special night will also be elevated with a curated selection of authentic Indochinese cuisine by Saigonsan. Guests will be treated to vibrant, layered flavors from Vietnam and Thailand, each dish thoughtfully prepared with elegance and the signature presentation style of Hotel Tugu.
