Youth Break the Boundaries Unites 15 Nations at Korea Youth Summit 2025

TIMESINDONESIA, SEOUL – Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) has successfully hosted the Korea Youth Summit 2025, a transformative four-day event held from June 30 to July 3 in Seoul. Under the theme “Living Culture, Lasting Legacy,” the summit brought together youth delegates from 15 countries for an inspiring program of leadership training, cultural exchange, and global collaboration.

The international summit welcomed participants from Indonesia, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Oman, Rwanda, Tanzania, Timor Leste, Uzbekistan, Kenya, Belarus, and Taiwan. With such a diverse representation, the summit fostered a truly global spirit, encouraging dialogue and cooperation across different cultures and perspectives.

Throughout the four days, delegates engaged in a rich blend of activities: exploring Seoul’s heritage through city tours, participating in expert-led symposiums, presenting group projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and connecting through cultural performances and networking sessions.

The event culminated in an official awarding night that recognized outstanding delegates across six categories, including Best Group, Best Presenter, and Best Content.

“This program is not just about coming together, it is about preserving and carrying forward our cultures while developing a global mindset. For four days, we created a space that was safe, empowering, and deeply impactful," said Meldi Latifah, committee member of Korea Youth Summit 2025.

The summit also featured influential speakers from Korea with backgrounds in global development, education, and cultural diplomacy. Among them were Jooeun Kim, a Development Cooperation scholar from Ewha Womans University; Jihye Lee, a cultural advocate with ties to UNESCO and the PyeongChang Olympics; Dong Chan Kim, Executive Director of Global Peace Youth Korea; and Youngjo Choi, President of Sejong International Center.

In addition to personal development, the summit rewarded excellence in collaboration, creativity, and cultural representation. Winners were honored with certificates, YBB souvenirs, and official documentation as part of the summit’s legacy.

Korea Youth Summit 2025 left a lasting impact on its participants, equipping them with skills in leadership, cross-cultural understanding, and international cooperation.
